Structo (“the App”) is a mobile application for creating and editing chemical structure drawings. This policy explains what information the App collects and how it is used.
The App uses Google Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data. Specifically, we collect the following:
The App sends anonymous usage events indicating when certain features are used (such as inserting templates, importing/exporting SMILES, exporting images, using reaction-drawing tools, the Validation dashboard, the Clean Structure feature, and saving documents). These events include only the type of feature used and brief contextual details, such as a template’s category or an exported image’s format.
On first launch, the App shows an optional survey (four multiple-choice questions about your intended use, your role, any tool you previously used, and your field of specialization).
The Google Firebase Analytics SDK may automatically collect standard usage statistics, such as app opens and session starts/updates.
The App never collects or transmits:
The information we collect is used solely to improve the App, understand usage patterns, and prioritize future development.
We do not sell or share the information we collect with any third party for advertising purposes. It is transmitted only to Google Firebase for data processing.

This policy may be updated from time to time as the App evolves or as required by law. Any changes will take effect as soon as the updated policy is posted on this page.
